My Story
Hi! I'm Nici, a Scentsy consultant from little ole WI...and here's my story!
But before we begin, I know we often hear stories like, "oh I just signed up for Scentsy for the discount and now OMG I'm so high up in the company! I didn't even want to sell it, but people flocked to me!"
I'm here to say I signed up with big goals. Those goals? Quit my job, support my family, raise my daughter. And I'm also here to say...I failed. I signed up for Scentsy during a really crappy time in my life. I had a 2 year old. A marriage that I wasn't sure was going to continue. I actually *overdrew* my bank account into the negative to sign up for Scentsy. (Not that I suggest doing that, ha. But I promise you I understand obstacles, hard times, and excuses. I've been there!)
I was barely active. I didn't have friend/family support. I was a lone wolf. It took me forever to hit my fist promotion. And recruits? Psh. Those were slow. But incredible things happen if you decide to try. Stick with it. Don't get down. Do what you need to do to be where you want to be! And that's what I did. I persisted. I believed. Even though the signs were definitely telling me to give up.
I'm happy to say that some AMAZING things have come out of this Scentsy journey of mine. I was able to support my family during an unpaid maternity leave. I earned a free cruise to Cozumel, and a family trip to Disney World. I've met countless friends and cannot think of a single thing that has blessed my life more than this company. My team and my customers are my world, and I will be forever thankful that I fell in love with some tiny samples of wax and decided to be financially irresponsible and sign up. :P But really. This Scentsy life is one of the best there is! Thank you for shopping small and supporting my little wax biz!
